The standard, well-balanced flavor of the Colombia base took on an interesting twist with the addition of the Toraneko’s bright acidity and lingering finish.
Doing experiments like this from time to time helps spark new blend ideas and gives me a better sense of where each coffee stands.

It’s all part of deepening my understanding—in my own way—and honestly, it’s a lot of fun. 😄
The bloom looked decent, and I’m pretty satisfied with how the crema turned out too.
